But is the experience of the guardians with the accessory always positive?

Those who have already used it know that there may be a certain time for the dog to adapt to the accessory. This is what Regina Valente, guardian of 14-year-old mongrel Suzy, reports: "In the first days she completely ignored the rug, I even thought she wouldn't adapt. I left it and then came a time when it started to get really hot. After about 10 days she lay down. I was super happy and took a picture.because I thought she wouldn't get used to it, but nowadays she stays." There are also those little dogs that already learn to cool off on the cold pet mat at first. This was the case with 15-year-old mongrel Cacau. Her tutor Marília Andrade, who gives some tips on the routine with dogs on the channel Farejando por Aí, tells how the dog's good reception with the product was: "She loved it right from the start. It is very cold and she feels very hot, when she lay down and had a good time.She used to wake up at dawn with heat and now she sleeps all night." The guardian also reports that the accessory can help in the daily life of an elderly dog. "I also use the cold mat for dog during the day, in the cart, when I go for a walk with her. She is a 15-year-old and can't walk much more, "explains Marília.

Although effective, not every dog gets used to the pet cold mat

Although it is a very functional accessory, it is important to note that not every pet adapts to it. Renata Turbiani is the human mother of the 3-year-old mongrel dog Queen and had an unsatisfactory experience with the accessory. "I thought the proposal was great and I wanted my pet to be comfortable. So I bought it, but she didn't adapt very well. She lay down a few times, but soon left. How sheHe was still a puppy and wanted to play with the carpet, so much so that he ate part of it", explains the tutor.

Renata explains that, although her puppy didn't care for the rug when she was a puppy, she intends to rescue it on hot days now that she has grown up to see if it works. "I don't know if I would recommend it to others. After all, it is an expensive product and there is always the risk that the dog will not use it, as happened in my house ", says the owner. To get around her dog's heat, Renata resorts to otherscare, such as giving ice cubes for her to nibble, changing the water frequently so that it is always fresh and leaving the windows open when leaving with the pet by car.
